The health and welfare of our service users, staff and visitors is our utmost priority. In line with guidance from the government, Public Health Wales and the Isle of Anglesey County Council we have taken the decision to close our day services until further notice. It was our initial intention to close from tomorrow afternoon, however following the announcement from the prime minster this evening we have made the decision to also close tomorrow, we will make contact with the parents/ carers of the individuals that we support in the morning and would like to apologise for the short notice. This is not a decision that has been taken lightly, however it is necessary to ensure that we safeguard our service users, many of whom are vulnerable. We will continue to provide 24 hour support and care to those who live in our supported houses.
It is our aim to reopen our day services as soon as it is safe to do so, and we will continue to monitor the situation carefully, following any guidance issued by the relevant authorities.
